About R3 UpMy Sleeve aka "Ace"

Born May 3, 2024, Ace is an ABCA/AKC registered Border Collie from heavy working lines, with an imported sire contributing to his pedigree. He is an intelligent, capable, and hardworking young male who exemplifies the natural working ability we value in the breed. Ace currently holds his BCAT title and is continuing to train toward additional titles as he develops his skills and experience.

On the ranch, Ace truly shines. He is a smart, dependable livestock and property guardian with a strong natural instinct to watch over his surroundings and protect what is entrusted to him. He takes his job seriously and is particularly valuable when it comes to deterring and handling predators. With foxes and coyotes present, Ace has the confidence, awareness, and determination to stand his ground and protect the ranch and livestock when called upon.

Ace has documented health testing, including OFA Fair hips and OFA Normal elbows. He is also DNA tested through Optimal Selection and is clear of the tested genetic conditions with the exception of TNS (Trapped Neutrophil Syndrome) and EAOD (Early Adult Onset Deafness), for which he is a carrier. His carrier status is carefully considered when planning pairings, and he will only be bred to appropriate clear females to ensure responsible breeding practices. He carries Tri, recessive red, chocolate, dilute, and saddleback.

Ace’s combination of strong working-line heritage, imported lineage, intelligence, natural guarding instincts, confidence, and willingness to work makes him a valuable working partner and an exciting young sire. As he continues his training and adds more titles to his name, we look forward to watching Ace mature and demonstrate the depth of ability found in his working pedigree.
